Bob Goodale

Bob was born in New Zealand and has lived in Australia for the past 40 years, working primarily as a professional naturalist, film producer, and wildlife photographer. His love of nature began as he worked in zoos around the world, including his position as Curator of Birds at Cologne Zoo Germany. Besides international documentary awards, Bob has many Australian Government awards for landcare and conservation. In 2000 he received the Australian Centenary Medal for Service to the Environment. Prior to leading trips around Australia, Bob founded and was designer and convener of Naragebup Environment Center.
