Know Before You Go
Participants on this adventure should be fit and capable of hiking along forest trails that are often steep and muddy; some hikes will be rigorous and up to eight miles in length. Some travel days will be long, involving rides in 4x4 vehicles over bumpy roads that require sitting for extended periods of time—sometimes up to 10 hours. With the exception of our hotel in Entebbe, accommodations throughout the journey will be in safari lodges and permanent tented camps. The rooms are spacious, include hot water and en suite facilities, and add the classic sense of a safari from a bygone era.
