Snow Monkeys & Cranes of JapanFebruary 11, 2015 - March 1, 2015
Snow monkey and crane, etc, viewing was indeed remarkable but one small part of the total experience, a chance to visit Japan off the tourist route, meet its people, eat its food- can you believe curries?? All with the incomparable Mark Brazil.
With Mark Brazil, we experienced Japan as few see it, staying in local inns, experiencing wildlife at the best possible times, mornings and night, soaking up culture from Onsens to 7-11s, very personal, very memorable. An outstanding trip!
Outstanding trip! Mark Brazil has worked hard to develop a FULL daily itinerary to provide interesting cultural & natural history opportunities for his clients. His in-country staff of leaders and drivers were also superb. All genuinely care about their group members. They serve with knowledge, grace, and good humor.
Special highlights of this trip included: fabulous naturalist combined with communication/community building skills well throughout trip itinerary (accommodation, flexibility/options, balance of culture/art/history/nature experiences). I waited a year to take this trip – it was WELL worth the wait!

From beginning to end, Zegrahm do tours right. Your office staff are knowledgeable and efficient, the tours are well planned including the best stops, great guides, wonderful places to eat and sleep, and you continue to improve them.

Zegrahm sweats the details. All aspects of our expedition were well thought out and executed. Mark Brazil conducted our experience with grace and humor while showing us some truly once-in-a-lifetime spectacles of nature. Even for travelers who have been to Japan this trip is not to be missed!
