Andean Condor

Encompassing 615,000 acres of expansive grasslands and the fantastic pinnacles of the Andean mountains, Torres del Paine National Park is a stunning UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and Chile’s premier Patagonian destination. Here peaks of twisted, snow-dusted granite—endowed with waterfalls, emerald lakes, and verdant valleys—tower above the plains of Patagonia. With your guide, witness Patagonia’s dramatic landscapes—ancient forests, vibrantly-hued lakes, rushing rivers, soaring mountains, and numerous glaciers. You’ll also search for resident wildlife such as Patagonian foxes, vicuñas, guañacos, flightless lesser rheas, striking Magellanic woodpeckers, and elegant Andean condors that soar high above the landscape.
