With an appreciation of nature and a deep understanding of the Arctic region, he has spent the majority of his career bringing travelers to some of the world’s most remote areas. He has also served as general naturalist aboard a variety of expedition vessels that have taken him from Svalbard, Greenland, and the Canadian Arctic to Antarctica, the tropical South Pacific, and up the Amazon River. Along with his work in adventure travel Mats also runs his own photography business in Norway.
