Sylvie is French Canadian, born and raised west of Montreal, on the shores of the St-Laurence River, in the beautiful province of Quebec. Sylvie has always been attracted to everything related to water, wildlife, nature and outdoor adventures, since as long as she can remember. She’s an avid environmentalist and lives an eco-friendly lifestyle. Thanks to a complete twist of faith and an insatiable desire to travel, Sylvie got the opportunity to work in the expedition travel industry and has been loving every minute of it. She’s been working on small expedition vessels since 2017.
Sylvie’s travels have taken her to her favorite places on earth, the polar regions, from the Antarctic Peninsula, the Falkland Islands and South Georgia to Iceland, Greenland, Svalbard, Jan Mayen Island to The North West Passage, Northern Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nunavut and Baffin Islands.
At home, Sylvie works in nature, she’s a Park Ranger, in a Quebec National Park. She loves being part of the conservation and protection department, covering trails, historical sites, beaches, camping grounds, forested territory, fields, wetland and many bio diverse protected areas. Sylvie is also an eco-designer and renovator, a Stand-up Paddle board/Yoga Instructor and a Zodiac boat fanatic, she loves those rib boats so much, that she got one for herself. She uses it to pick-up trash along the shorelines and for wildlife viewing. Sylvie also lives in nature, in a small village, where her husband and her are renovating their century old house and enjoy the four amazing seasons Quebec has to offer. She can’t wait to reunite with you, adventurous Zegrahm family.
